When it started getting dark we headed back home to sing "Happy Birthday" and eat the best brownies with ice cream that we've ever had!

Working The Brake We celebrated Labour Day by working... and even though it was 94 today, the lower humidity makes the hours spent on the scaffold, in the direct sunlight, not so bad.
We've been working on replacing/repairing the eaves, and preparing the upper side of the house for Tyvek and siding.

Today we have another visitor, all the way from KY. He came to do whatever he can to help out. Today he entertained us all with his dramatic way of speech....

Justin and Jack have all the lights and outlets wired up in the upstairs part of the house. Now there are lights in Mom and Dad's room for the first time since we've been here.
